This is a web art by Ahmd Nadalian.  He said on his website that "A website is not only a place to introduce an art work, but a contemporary way of conveying  ideas and art." I think that it is a really interesting way to make and present artwork.  It is not the typical "art" that has been made for years due to the invention of the internet and the new technological advances. He also states that "In a world in which information is boundless, we are able to publish our works digitally and make them accessible to every one regardless of their physical location." I think that web art is a really unique way to distribute one's individual art work.  

I choose this picture because I really like Andy Warhol pieces.  I visited New York City this summer and I went to the Museum of Modern Art and I thought that the Andy Warhol pieces were really cool and unique.  This was an influence on my self portrait piece because of the coloring.  The repetetions and colors make the piece interesting and unique to look at.  It makes me wonder why he decided to make which one a certain color and if there is any reasoning behind it.      

This abstract painting makes me feel like I am in a state of tranquility.  It conveys a sense of calmness because of the brush strokes as well as the colors. The brush strokes have fluidity as the artist made long strokes and combined the colors really well.  They gradually change from one color to another.  

   This image looks like a river with mountains surrounding it.  Being around water in a secluded area is one of the most peaceful places to be.  The artist demonstrates this peacefulness by their choice of colors: calming blues and sensual purples.  

This is an art piece that is digitally composited. I think it's really interesting. Having a tree house is something that I've always envied but this piece puts a twist on the average tree house. The way the artist has the walk way still present is really cool. I'm not too sure what the figure is in the bottom left, but I believe it is a body. However, I'm not sure of the purpose of it. Since the piece is in grayscale, it gives it an eerie feel. This once again puts another twist on the average tree house.
